Why Do Contractors Typically Install These?
Louvered pergolas have not been offered direct to consumer in the same way that we are until now, because these heavy-duty units typically require a year or more of industry knowledge to install them correctly. We've changed that.
Is the material challenging to work with?
Since these structures are made of high-quality aluminum, contractors without experience run the risk of cutting or grinding something incorrectly, making replacement very expensive compared to going to a lumber yard for a new piece of wood. We've eliminated the need for you to cut or grind anything.
Is it hard to get the unit square, plumb and level?
One of the important aspects to construction is building your structure square, plumb, and level. We've created our components to force the unit square to itself. The posts are cut the same height, so the walls that need to be level to one another are within the plane of what they are mounted to, and then you're left to plumb up the posts just before anchoring. Easy - peasy.
Is it harder to assemble than less expensive Chinese units?
Our pergola is designed to be easier to install. We label everything just the same, but (aside from the weight) our unit goes together quickly through intuitively designed junction points.
